Jane, like every friend and foe around her, woke up in this vast and empty world absent of memories. Some had been here for a year, five years, ten years - the oldest tales dated to twenty! - and herself had wandered for five months. Jane had had the luck to meet the clan that took her home early, where she was safe, fed, and appreciated. She loved her group, she really did, yet could not share the same hatred as everyone for the pack living across the lake. She hated this ever-going war. And, above all, Jane could not take her eyes off the horizon singing freedom.
